Une musique rêvée, percutive, mystique et contemporaine

“Nascente” is the music that I have always dreamed about. The sound that I had in mind for this project was occasionally mystic, dreamlike, percussive, chamber-music orientated and contemporary at the same time. Many of the songs that we play are by brasilian authors such as Guinga, Milton Nascimento, Chico Buarque but there are also original compositions and some popular songs chosen among different regions of the world. “Nascente is for me that place in our mind where we can walk peacefully and find ourselves authentic, no matter what happens outside of it. It’s a living refuge, a mirage for the bravest travellers. ( Flavio Spampinato)
