Après le succès des concerts "Crossroads" au Crix Café (Sint Gillis) de janvier à juin 2022, Simon Leleux ramène le Crossroads au Crix !

Depuis près de 10 ans, à travers un duo appelé "Auster Loo" avec Lydie Thonnard (flûtes, voix), ils croisent le chemin de musiciens d'horizons très divers. A chaque concert, ils mettent en lumière une rencontre musicale entre différents héritages musicaux. Pour ce concert, ils ont réuni deux musiciens extraordinaires : Aki Sato du Japon et Bao Sissoko du Sénégal ! Le résultat de cette rencontre musicale vous sera présenté en exclusivité le 09 décembre prochain !

La musique est composée dans le but d'offrir un canevas pour une fusion stylistique et ainsi permettre aux sensibilités des musiciens de s'épanouir. Un délicat exercice d'équilibriste qui aboutira à leur grande première en formule 8 groupes pour le Festival "les gouts de gand" en mai 2023.

After the successful run of the "Crossroads" concerts @ Crix Café (Sint Gillis) from january till june 2022, Simon Leleux brings the Crossroads back to the Crix!

For almost 10 years, through a duo called "Auster Loo" togheter with Lydie Thonnard (flutes, voice), they've been crossing path of musicians from a wide range of backgrounds. With each concert, they turn the spotlight on a musical encounter between different musical heritages. For this concert, they brought together two extraordinnary musicians : Aki Sato from Japan and Bao Sissoko from Senegal ! The result of this musical encounter will be presented in exclusivity to you next 09 décember !

The music is composed with the aim of offering a canvas for a stylistic merging and so allowing the muscians sensibilities to thrive. A delicate balancing act, leading to their big premiere in a 8 band formula for "les gouts de gand" Festival may 2023.
