Le trio Maysan est né de la rencontre entre Tarek Alsayed (oud), Tammam Alramadan (ney) et Simon Leleux (percussions).
Depuis Alep jusqu'à Bruxelles, Maysan trio préserve et fait vivre un riche répertoire oriental. Le trio se fonde autour de l'envie d'aborder ce répertoire sous un angle novateur et instrumental. Ils s'approprient d'une manière unique un répertoire syrien, irakien, égyptien, ou encore grec ou turc. S'y ajoutent des compositions nées de leur complicité et de leurs diverses influences.

The Maysan trio was born from the meeting between Tarek Alsayed (oud), Tammam Alramadan (ney) and Simon Leleux (percussions).
From Aleppo to Brussels, the Maysan trio preserves and brings to life a rich oriental repertoire. The trio is founded around the desire to approach this repertoire from an innovative and instrumental angle. They appropriate a Syrian, Iraqi, Egyptian, or even Greek or Turkish repertoire in a unique way. There also add compositions born from their complicity and their various influences.
