Leonie Evans est une jeune chanteuse d'origine Britannique passionnée par les chansons américaines des années '20 et '30.

Parmis quelques compositions elle rendra hommage aux artistes oubliés de cette période, notamment Bessie Smith ou encore Georgia White en reproduit dans son chant ce "grain" de voix à l'ancienne que l'on ne retrouve nulle part ailleurs...
